After 25 years in the BP Group culminating as manager of logistics operations for BP Exploration in the North Sea, he has been managing director of a number of companies including a helicopter operator, an airline, a drilling company (General Manager and Vice President for Europe), an airport operator and finally chairman of an airline. |
He is deputy chairman of the Cromarty Firth Port Authority, a director of Low Cost Airports Group Ltd, a trustee of the UHI Millennium Institute Development Trust and a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society, of the Institute of Logistics and Transport and of the Institute of Directors.
