SFI Norman (www.sfinorman.no), is an eight-year research programme with the vision to develop new and multidisciplinary research on next-generation manufacturing and create theories, methods, models and management tools that enable Norwegian manufacturers to thrive in global competition.

SFI Norman is hosting the International Workshop on Responsive Manufacturing at the Britannia Hotel in Trondheim (Norway), on the 3^rd and 4^th of November. The workshop addresses topics of high importance for future manufacturing systems.
