Scientific research consists in seeing what everyone else has seen,
but thinking what no one else has thought (Albert Szent-Gyorgyi, Nobel Prize winner, 1937)

This is what we mean by research at Carisma RCT: observing available data, events and problems and use a mixture of proven methodologies and pure imagination and forward-thinking to come up with solutions that nobody else have come up with before.

"Innovators break the rules […] Trust them” (Joseph Bordogna, deputy director of the National Science Foundation)

Business research is often thought as purely theoretical and far away from reality and industry needs. Having worked in universities for many years, we know that unfortunately that is true some time. However, we also know that as with anything else these days, Universities as well are changing. There are plenty of forward thinking academics and scientists that see the value of working with industry.

Carisma RCT aims to use our expertise of working within academia and industry to build bridges between these still too distant words.

Carisma RCT's past and on-going research activities cover:

  • Facilitating suppliers benchmarking in the oil and gas industry
  • Development of a start-up kit for renewables companies
