Creating forums to discuss and validate new theories and
advance the state of knowledge
As part of Carisma Research Institute's activities, our staff is often asked to help organise or attend international scientific conferences as members of the organising or scientific committees, track or sessions chairs and presenters.
Our activities in this space are aimed at either disseminating our research results, presenting our latest publications and learn from others.

- The 20th annual conference of the Production and Operations Management Society (POMS): Carisma RCT has been invited to Chair the Strategic Sourcing Track and organise all the sessions in it. Also, in his capacity as editor of Strategic Outsourcing, Carisma RCT's CEO will Chair the Editors' Panel, comprising some of the editors of the top journals in business management, operations management, economics, etc. The conference is to take place on May 1-4, 2009 (Orlando, Florida).
- Invited Lecture, Aston University, Dr. Marco Busi on Strategic Outsourcing, February 24/25, 2009
- The "Internationalisation of Companies and Inter-cultural Management 2008" conference organisers invite Carisma RCT to delivery keynote presentation on known and unknown of Strategic Outsourcing. The conference is to be held on October 27-29, 2008 in Aalborg, Denmark.
- The Modern Information Technology in the Innovation Processes of the Industrial Enterprise (MITIP2008): Carisma RCT has been invited to be part of the Scientific Committee for the conference, which will take place on November 12-14, 2008 (Prague). Download the call for papers
- The 3rd World Conference on Production and Operations Management: the paper "Enabling Performance Management in SMEs: a Study into What SMEs Need to Measure and Manage Performance" is going to be presented at this year edition of POM World Conference, held in Tokyo, August 5-8, 2008. The article was co-authored by Carisma RCT's CEO together with Hakon Fauske (SINTEF Technology and Science, Norway) and Erlend Alfnes (Norwegian University of Science and Technology)
